How does the VPN client connect to the Cloud? (ports & protocols)

The VPN client is a lightweight application, running in the background on your computer, that enables you to make a secure VPN connection to your devices from within your browser. It uses outgoing port(s) to establish its connection.

Below is an overview of the ports and protocols that the VPN client utilizes, which can be blocked by the company’s firewall.

(1) Only used when stealth mode is activated for connectivity via a censored internet connection (e.g. when located in China).
