Our highlights for the smart warehouse or distribution logistics

The new Motor Drive System in IE5/IE7
reduces the energy requirement for materials handling applications

The centrepiece of the Drive System is the new permanent magnet synchronous motor. This offers significantly higher efficiency thanks to lower losses inside the motor.

  • Energy-efficient combination of motor, gearbox and frequency drive performs without sensors in dynamic applications
  • 300% overload torque from standstill
  • Reduces motor losses by up to 60 %
  • Less or the same space requirement compared to less efficient alternatives
  • Decentralised drive i650 motec now with Logic PLC and sensorless positioning in addition to integrated power recovery

Gearless motor driven roller with endless opportunities for designing conveyor systems

The new MDR from Lenze is twice as powerful as conventional motor driven roller thanks to its unique brushless design concept. With its innovative drive concept, it offers many advantages for intralogistics solutions in warehouses, airports or distribution centres:

  • Up to 2x as powerful as other MDRs thanks to the innovative motor design
  • 15 % energy saving compared to conventional MDR, comparable to efficiency class IE7
  • Quiet operation with design based on Vernier-principal
  • Minimal variance: One covering all speed and torques
  • Voltage flexibility: Single variant can run on 24 and 48 VDC

Solution packages for storage and retrieval machines –
now also with Drive Based Motion

Implement your storage and retrieval machine concepts innovatively and easily - with the Controller Based Motion or Drive Based Motion solution. While the Controller Based Motion solution allows you to make individual adjustments in the PLC, the Drive Based Motion solution can be parameterised quickly and easily with the Easy Starter.

Of course, the same applies to both approaches:

  • For all common travelling and lifting gear concepts
  • in normal operation and for deep-freeze areas
  • including extensive safety technology

Ready-to-use Lenze FAST standard software modules are available for efficient software engineering.

Digital engineering for smart warehouses

With the EASY System Designer (ESD), we enable optimum drive design with the correct dimensioning and reliable planning of machine solutions.

With the Asset Management Platform, you can combine secure remote access, IoT data acquisition, dashboarding and ticket and document management for more efficient troubleshooting and reduced downtimes.

Condition Monitoring provides real-time status descriptions with the drive as a sensor. This provides you with comprehensive information on the condition of your machines and systems without additional costly sensors.

Discover how an intelligent, digitalised warehouse with predictive maintenance works with live data from Lenze's new Mechatronic Competence Campus.

A perfect match expands the range of solutions for horizontal conveying: i650 motec

The i650 motec decentralized frequency inverter offers additional functions compared to the i550 motec. The integrated sensorless positioning function is ideal for turntables, corner transfer units and conveyor applications where a positioning function is required. In terms of safety technology, STO via CIP Safety is now available in addition to STO. Of course, the i650 motec also offers an integrated power recovery unit or the I/O-Link master functionality.
