Function description
On port tabs, the user can specify the interface via which the port is to communicate. This makes sense if the machine has several physically separated networks that come into question. CAN type and Ethernet Powerlink type interfaces are selectable. The network generator maps the port in a free PDO of the interface specified so that the user is spared the task of mapping the PDO manually.
Furthermore, port tabs display the process data transmitted if an online connection between the Engineer and the device has been established.
