Function description
EDS/DCF device description files can be exported from the Engineer 2.5 in order to integrate the 9400 HighLine into a control programming system. Highlight the CAN interface of the 9400 to be connected with the control system in the project tree and select the menu item 'EDS Export...' in the context menu to export such a file. The contents of the created file depend on the current project planning in the Engineer (device type and version, module assembly, application, function block instance codes, user codes, port structure).
