What happens?
It is not possible to insert an 'Electrical Shaft' machine application into the project. The 'Electrical Shaft' machine application is required in order to use the cam profile functionality in the Engineer.
When does the problem occur?
If the Engineer version 1.5 is updated to version 2.5 the 'Electrical Shaft' machine application is not available.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Install Service Pack 3 for Engineer V2.5.
Evaluation:
The 'Electrical Shaft' machine application is only available if Engineer V2.5 is installed. The full version of the Engineer V2.5 is not affected by this function restriction. Thanks to Service Pack 3 for Engineer V2.5 this function restriction has been eliminated.
