What happens?
After the download the 9400 drive automatically sends process data telegrams via the onboard CAN interface. As a result, the bus load is increased unnecessarily.
When does the problem occur?
When a CAN process data telegram (TPDO) is created the cycle time (code C00356) is set automatically to the shortest task run time possible (usually 1 ms) when the project is updated (key <F11>). As a result, the 9400 drive sends automatically this process data telegram after the download.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Install Service Pack 3 for Engineer V2.5. Thanks to Service Pack 3 code C00356 is no longer automatically changed when the project is updated.
Evaluation:
After the download the 9400 drive automatically sends process data telegrams via the onboard CAN interface. The cycle time of the transmission interval can be set subsequently via code C00356. Thanks to Service Pack 3 for Engineer V2.5 this function restriction has been eliminated.
