Function description
When installing Engineer V2.6, the system bus 'CAN bus server' V 2.1.2, in which the following improvements are included, is installed, too:
- The device number can be read out from the communication module 2177. As a result, it is much easier to activate several 2177 communication modules in parallel.
- The availability of the 2181 modem is checked.
- Possible error situations when a connection is established are detected more reliably and indicated in an improved way.
- Improved performance when the EMF2173IB system bus adapter and EMF2177IB USB system bus adapter are used.
When installing Engineer V2.6, the diagnostic bus server V 0.5.1, in which the following improvements are included, is installed, too:
- The communication with the 8400 StateLine via the E94AZCUS diagnostic adapter is supported.
Applications
Applications which use the bus systems mentioned above in order to communicate 'online' between Engineer and real devices.
