Compatibility with previous versions Engineer:
Engineer V2.6 SP1 is downwards compatible in terms of function.
This means that higher software versions support all function included in the previously released software versions as of version 1.2.
In order to operate and configure 8400 devices Engineer version V2.6 is required. Other devices which are supported by Engineer V2.5 are also supported by Engineer V2.6 SP1.
> Previous Engineer versions cannot be used for new projects with 8400.
