Description
Lenze software products can be updated via the Device data update with the device-specific files for the corresponding target systems.

System requirements

  • Microsoft® Windows® 10 / Windows® 8.x / Windows® 7 (32 and 64 Bit) / Windows® Server 2008 / Windows® Server 2003 / Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional (32-bit) from SP3
  • IBM-compatible PC with Intel® processor as of 1,4GHz, 4GB RAM, 2GB HDD or equivalent
  • minimum display resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels
  • Installation of at least one of the above-listed software products

Software installation
To update Lenze software products there are two different ways to execute the installation:

  1. Update former Engineer version with current catalogs:
    1. Close all Lenze software.
    2. Save the following file on your PC:
    3. Unpack the ZIP file in any directory on your PC.
    4. In the extracted directory start the setup.exe file and follow the installation instructions.
    5. To update the 8400 motec catalogs (only for Engineer V2.32 and V2.33) save the following file in any directory on your PC:
    6. Unpack the ZIP file in any directory on your PC.
    7. In the extracted directory start the setup.exe file and follow the installation instructions.
  2. Update former Lenze software with the current device specific files:
    1. Close all Lenze software.
    2. Save the follwing file on your PC:
    3. Unpack the ZIP file in any directory on your PC.
    4. In the extracted directory start the setup.exe file and follow the installation instructions.
