Function extensions:

  • 8400: dialogs for encoder settings improved
  • Selection of the motor also includes selection of the motor feedback
  • FB Editor 9400: copying function block groups
  • Exporting parameter values in CSV and TXT format 

 

Rectified functional restrictions:

  • 9400: Application cannot be downloaded into the device
  • 8400 motec: 'Build project' inverts CAN ports
  • 8400 TopLine: changing the connector visibility has impact on further module
  • 8400: English translations with regard to homing incorrect
  • 9400: incomprehensible message in the case of missing application information

 

Known functional restrictions:

  • 9400: 'Safe configuration' tab remains empty if the password has not been entered before


Compatibility with earlier versions

Engineer 2.20 SP1 is functionally backward-compatible. This means that higher software versions support the functions of the previously-released software from version 1.2 onwards.
