Response of the new version:
The c300 and p300 controllers create auto-backups such that a "Restore" action for these backups will not lead to an error message.
What happens?
When selecting the "Restore" action for a backup and clicking the <Start> button, the following error message appears:
Backup or update used contains special characters. Please select backup or update without special characters.
When does this behaviour occur?
The above-described error message occurs if the "Restore" action is applied to a backup which was automatically created by a c300 or p300 controller during a restore process (auto-backup). In this case, the USB stick must have been prepared for the restore with the Windows Explorer on directory/file level.

Backup&Restore V3.8 and higher
c300 L-force controller V3.8 and higher
p300 L-force controller V3.8 and higher
Short-term measures/recommendations:
Do not use the "Backup&Restore" software to restore the auto-backup, but the "WebConfig", the controller's "control panel" or the Windows Explorer. In this way, the auto-backup can be properly restored.
Evaluation:
When preparing a USB stick for a restore using the "Backup&Restore" software, an error message may occur if the USB stick for the backup to be restored has been prepared with the Windows Explorer on file level. In general, the USB stick is either prepared using the "Backup&Restore" software or via the WebConfig of the controller.
