Eliminated functional restrictions:

  • Installation in 'Silent Mode' stops (remedy)
  • Exception immediately after the start of Engineer (remedy)
  • GDC file with '{}' is incompletely imported (remedy) 
  • Oscilloscope: First-time scaling of a channel is lost (remedy) 
  • 8400: Variable LS_AxisBusIn.wLin3 is missing in the oscilloscope (remedy) 
  • 9400: Online values of the application variables are not displayed (remedy) 
  • 9400: Exported device description is not used (remedy)
  • 9400: Renaming/deleting of ports with exception handling (remedy)

Known functional restrictions:
9400: 'Safe Configuration' remains empty if the password has not been previously entered.

 
Compatibility with earlier versions:
Engineer 2.21 is downwards compatible in terms of functions. This means that higher software versions support the functions of previously released software versions from version 1.2 upwards.
