- Difference description of EASY Starter V1.7 SP1 to V1.8

Functional extensions:

  • EASY Starter supports inverter i500
  • New version of communication software
  • Oszilloscope extensions
  • Dialogue ‚Reset device‘ revised
  • OPC-UA Server: certificate Management simplified
  • Add single unit via CAN optimized

Eliminated functional restrictions:

  • Application Loader: Automatic import of the user device description
    does not work (remedy)

Known functional restrictions:

  • No selection ‚USB‘ when adding devices
  • Lecom with USB-RS232-converter: devices cannot be identified

Compatibility with earlier versions:

The EASY Starter V1.7.1 SP1 is functionally backward compatible.
That means, higher software versions support the functions of the previously released software versions from version 1.0.
