It is also possible to download a safe parameter set in a new SM301.
What happens?
When trying to load the safe parameter set to an SM301, the PC software crashes with an exception.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when trying to load the safe parameter set for the first time to a new SM301.
Which products are affected? Engineer from V2.25
EASY Starter from V1.12
Short-term measures:
Use Engineer software V2.24 for the first safe parameter setting of the SM301. Unless this Engineer version is installed on your PC, proceed as follows:
Close the entire Lenze software.
Save the following file in any directory on your PC:
If there is no internet connection during the installation, the software cannot be automatically updated via the Lenze »EASY Package Manager«. The required files (packages) can be installed via the AKB article Offline packages for Lenze engineering tools.
Evaluation/recommendations:
As from Engineer V2.25 and with Easy Starter V1.12, the SM301 safety module of the 9400 servo inverter can no longer be parameterised. This only applies to the first commissioning of a new module. If Engineer V2.24 was used for initial commissioning, higher Engineer versions can be used for further commissioning.
