i950 all TAs: Holding brake: Grinding in function (from V01.06.04)
Function extension: 'Grind in holding brake': Function to 'loop in' a factory-new holding brake. This function may be necessary after replacing the holding brake because the holding torque of the brake specified in the data sheet is not necessarily fully available immediately. The 'friction partners' must first be ground in to be able to develop the full friction force.
Please note:
For the 'grinding-in', the drive is automatically run up to the specified grinding-in speed by the function:
The axle must therefore be able to move freely without overrunning travel range limitations.
A limited travel range (active software end positions) is taken into account, i.e. the direction is automatically changed several times to achieve the number of grinding-in cycles.
The maximum permissible friction work of the holding brake must not be exceeded (observe the manufacturer's specifications)!
