What happens?
When downloading a GDC file to the i5xx with the EASY Application Loader, warnings are displayed that some parameters are invalid.
At the end of the download the following summary is displayed:

Download finished. Not all parameters of the GDC file were transferred because they are invalid.
During the download, the values of these parameters remain unchanged in the unit.
When downloading the same GDC file with the EASY Starter, the above warnings are not displayed, but the result in the unit is the same.
When does the behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when the GDC file used for the download was previously saved by means of a parameter set upload via the 'Digitec OPC Tunnel' channel.
Which products are affected?
EASY Application Loader and EASY Starter in conjunction with devices of the i510, i510 protec, i550 and i550 protec series that are accessed online via the 'Digitec OPC Tunnel' channel.

This function restriction only affects i5xx devices that are reached online via the 'Digitec OPC Tunnel' channel, i.e. the device variants CAN and EtherCAT.
Furthermore, only setting parameters of the data type 'ARRAY - byte array' are affected by the function restriction.
Thus, the following two parameters are concerned, which are not transmitted to the device under the above-mentioned conditions:
