What happens?
It is no longer possible to import new variables from the symbol configuration.
When does the behaviour occur?
When importing variables from the symbol configuration, the number of variables allowed for the device was exceeded.
The following message appears in the output window of EASY UI Designer:
WARNING: The number of variables is limited to 'XXXX'! The variable "XYZ" could not be added to the project.
After this message it is no longer possible to import further variables from the symbol configuration.
Which products are affected?
EASY UI Designer: V01.03.00.xxx
Short-term measures
Close your project and restart EASY UI Designer.
Evaluation / recommendation:
Optimise the symbol configuration in PLCDesigner.
There should only be variables that are also used in the visualisation.
