Corrected from:
EASY Starter V1.22
Response of the new version:
The EASY Starter correctly reads parameters of the 9400 servo inverter that contain mapping information and stores them correctly in the parameter set file when uploading.
What happens?
After downloading a parameter set (*.GDC or *.LDA) to a 9400 servo inverter, process data communication via the servo inverter's communication modules does not work.
When does the behaviour occur?
Code (parameter) of the 9400 servo inverter's communication modules that define the mapping information for the process data objects are not read by the EASY Starter via the 'EASY TCP/IP' communication path. When uploading and saving the parameter set via this communication path, these parameters are saved with an incorrect value in the parameter set file. If the saved parameter set is downloaded back to the servo inverter, process data communication via the communication module no longer functions. The following parameters are affected by this function restriction:

y: Depending on the slot of the communication module (3=Slot MIX1, 4=Slot MIX2)
Which products are affected?
EASY Starter V1.18.0 and V1.19.0 to V1.21.0
Short-term measures:
Use the L-force Engineer or EASY Starter V1.18.1, V1.17 or older to upload and save the parameter set.
Evaluation / recommendations:
When uploading the parameter set from a 9400 servo inverter, parameters of the communication modules 'EtherNet/IP', 'EtherCAT' and 'Ethernet Powerlink' are not correctly saved in the parameter set file. This parameter set file cannot be used as a data backup, as process data communication via these communication modules no longer functions after downloading this file.
The 9400 servo inverter is configured using the 'L-force Engineer' engineering software. Typically, this software is also used for data backup. The 'L-force Engineer' is not affected by this functional restriction.
