With version 1.4 of EASY UI Designer, a simulation mode for client projects was added to the development environment.
With the help of the simulation mode in EASY UI Designer, the project progress can be tested in the development phase even without a controller with FAST UI Runtime.
To start a simulation, you have to select Local under Execution target in the Project tab of the toolbar. The project is then started on the local engineering PC. By clicking on the green button, the project is displayed in the selected browser.
The simulation does not support active communication with a Lenze controller.
The alternative target device, however, starts the project on the controller projected in the target device manager.
If first tests of the functionality are to be accomplished, the use of the diagnostic function of the VisiWin7 Server Manager offers itself.
This can be started via the Windows taskbar with a click on the following symbol.
Herewith variable values can be written, for example to test the project engineering of variable dependent actions.
Select the active server project in the project list and click on the Diagnostic button.
