FAST UI Runtime: After an online change from the PLC Designer no more values can be written from the WebClient

Corrected from:
Lenze Controller Firmware V10.11.00

Response of the new version:

Online change in PLC Designer no longer leads to communication being cancelled.

What happens?
A value change, e.g. of a temperature in a NumericVarIn in the WebClient of EASY UI Designer, is not accepted by the PLC.
The WebClient displays the new value, there is no feedback that the new value has NOT been adopted in the PLC.
However, a value change, e.g. of a temperature by the PLC, is correctly displayed in a NumericVarOut.

When does the behaviour occur?
PLC project is running and a WebVisu client is started.
In the PLC, a change of the PLC project is transferred to the controller via the Online Change option.

Which products are affected?
Controller Firmware V01.09.00

Short-term measures:
  • All active WebClient must be terminated.
(Switch off HMI devices, end browser sessions)
  • The server project must be set to unloaded. This can be checked via the Server Manager UI.
  • Re-establish the WebClient connection.
Note: If you have set the server project to autostart, the controller must be restarted.

Evaluation / recommendations:
To work permanently with Online Change the option Use registered OPC UA variables (nodes) = Never can be set.
Afterwards, the Easy UI Designer Server project must be transferred again.
Now the steps described above are no longer necessary after an Online Change.
(Server Project --> Variables --> Channels --> Controller: OPCUA --> Property Pages --> Extended)
