If the system time is changed on the controller, this no longer leads to an exception in the WebClient.

What happens?

The visualization on a client (e.g. v450 or Internet browser) crashes with an error message.
The following error messages may occur:
- Client cannot communicate. Socket is not available, client must be restarted. Please try to reload.
- Client cannot communicate. Possibly PingPong timeout between gateway and client. Please check the network connection!

 

When does the behaviour occur?

The system time was changed on the controller, via index 0x245B:2.
or
The system time is changed automatically by the summertime / wintertime changeover (DST).

 

Which products are affected?

EASY UI Designer all versions
c5x0 FW all versions

 

Short-term measures: 

- v450: Press Reload Button.
- Browser: Refresh / "F5".
