When opening a valid EASY UI project URL such as "http://192.168.5.99/easyui/Project1_Client/", the browser tries to connect to the EASY UI Server process of the controller.
This process was controlled by simple timeouts in the past. Depending on the EASY UI project, the controller and the Client device, it might happen that the set timeouts didn’t work like expected and the hole startup procedure failed.
For this reason, we restructured the startup procedure of EASY UI projects and replaced the static timeouts with intelligent functions to make the whole process more reliable. Our particular focus here was on presenting the current startup status in an easy way.
