Innovative Solutions for the MHL Industry
The material handling industry continues to evolve and the demand for improved efficiency, reduced variances, quieter operation, and of course more power will drive the future of our industry.
Lenze is committed to delivering what’s next to material handling and logistics stakeholders. This year at ProMat, we are raising the bar with our new magnetic MDR rollers, now in production. Additionally, we are excited to present a sneak peek of our next generation IE5 and IE7 drive package, highlighting the next generation of efficiency technology.
Offering innovative solutions that drive the future of conveyance and automation is our promise to customers. Learn more about the value of a Lenze partnership and the value of our 75+ year legacy of perfecting progress with our customers.
o450 MDR - An Evolution in Conveyance
Finally, a reliable, gearless MDR to drive your operation
The NEW o450 MDR drive will simplify your material handling infrastructure, deliver up to twice the power of conventional motorized rollers, and reduce energy use. The gearless design of the o450 MDR also reduces variants, allowing you to streamline inventory by standardizing engineering design resources.
- Reduce Energy use by up to 15%
- Increase Power — up to two-times that of conventional MDRs — most powerful MDR currently on market
- Reduction of variants by 85% — both inventory and multi-development environments are reduced
NEW IE5/IE7 Drive Package Preview
Achieve top-class efficiency IE5/IE7 together with our frequency drives
We are excited to preview these products offering unparalleled efficiency in our next generation Drive Package. This package utilizes a permanent magnet motor achieving efficiency classes of IE5 and IE7. Comprised of the m550/m650 motor, g500 gearbox and the current i550 motec and i650 generation of frequency drives, this solution will perform without sensors in dynamic applications.
The new Motor Drive Package is "in sync" with current and future efficiency challenges thereby expanding the range of industrial applications.
- Performance — The 300% overload torque accelerates the motor from standstill to full load.
- Motor losses — Provides reduction of more than 60%.
- Hardware cost reduction — Significant
- Reduced size — Space-saving installation of the motor system thanks to its compact design.
i-series motec
When you’re ready to customize, not compromise
High-performance and reliability are the building blocks for your rapidly moving automation environment and your path to success starts with our i-series motec drives. These products offer less cost (installation), less energy use, less components, and less wiring. This results in more control of your automation environment.
Less cost ─ Installation of the i-series motec simplifies setup time eliminating considerable work hours and wiring.
Less time ─ Connectorized electrical connections removes potential wiring errors while drop-in mounting holes ensure quick installation.
Less energy ─ Integrated regenerative braking allows energy to be fed back to the mains. This standard feature on the i-series motec eliminates the need for brake resistors thereby reducing the cost of external parts while minimizing energy loss.
Less components ─ The i-series motec with built in IO-LINK eliminates the need for external IO-LINK blocks. Additionally, the regenerative feature removes the need for external brake resistors. Less parts mean less points of failure and less human error.
MORE CONTROL ─ This all results in improved control of your automation environment and keeping you moving forward for decades to come. If you are ready to improve flexibility, reduce energy, enhance safety, and simplify setup, let Lenze drive you forward.
In this future-oriented session, our panel will bring a diverse perspective to the challenges and opportunities ahead for the automation industry. How can we continue to work smarter as technology evolves and digitization plays a more significant role in optimizing automation at your facility. Predictive maintenance and avoiding potential failures will be essential in maximizing uptime and reducing downtime costs; this is a great opportunity to discuss the genesis of this functionality and how to determine best case applications for your operation.
