Functional enhancements
- GDC can run in Windows 8
- GDC includes all device description files of the device data update GU19
 
Compatibility with earlier versions
GDC V4.14.1 can be used to use *.GDC parameter set files from all the older GDC versions.
GDC V4.14.1 can be used to use *.PDB device descriptions from GDC versions from V4.3.1 onwards.
