i950, c5x0, c750: Creating user parameters

Question:
How to create user parameters in PLC projects for an i950 servo inverter?
 
Answer:
The i950 servo inverter can either be parameterised or programmed. The PLC Designer is used for programming. For parameter setting, you can, e.g. use the EASY Starter. By means of so-called pragma instructions, you can create user parameters for the i950 in the PLC Designer project. For this purpose, a new parameter will be created and linked to a variable from the PLC Designer project. Via this user parameter you can change the variable value e.g. by using the EASY Starter.  
 
The i950_Parameter_V318.zip file includes:
  • A document describing the pragma instructions for creating user parameters and how to use them.
  • A PLC Designer project with different user parameters created as an example.
