The new IE5/IE7 motor and the new decentralized Frequency Drive i650 motec reduces energy consumption
At the heart of the Drive System is the new permanent magnet synchronous motor. This offers significantly higher efficiency thanks to lower losses inside the motor, in the rotor and in conjunction with the precise control by the drive software.
The highly efficient combination of motor, gearbox and frequency drive is easy to use, reduces motor losses by 60% and provides an exciting overload torque of 300%.
The decentralized frequency drive i550 motec has an integrated regenerative power supply and the i650 motec also offers the functions Logic PLC and positioning.

The products, such as the i550 cabinet (IP20) and i550 protec (IP66) for wall mounting, are on average 40% smaller and offer great flexibility in functionality and communication. The innovative i550 motec (IP66) motor or wall-mounted drives, available up to 45 kW, supports the trend towards decentralization. The frequency drives portfolio ranges from 0.25 -123 kW. With the Lenze motors in IE3, IE5 or IE7 and gearboxes, even greater efficiency can be achieved.
