Lenze Relocates Electromechanical Production Operations
UXBRIDGE, MA, July 01, 2019 - Lenze Americas, a global leader and manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control and automation technologies, has announced that it is relocating its electromechanical operations and logistics center from Glendale Heights, IL to its headquarters and production facility in Uxbridge, MA. The move is slated to be complete in August 2019, with full production of current g500 electromechanical product offerings expected to start at that time.
This transition is taking place to ensure production excellence, operational efficiency, and easy integration of electrical and mechanical systems. "With the consolidation of our production facilities, we'll be able to take advantage of having our core operation and supply chain teams, as well as our management team, all under one roof," said Ralph Rosa, president of Lenze Americas.
The Uxbridge, MA HQ location, currently the site of inverter production, has already met the highest level of process maturity in the Lenze Production System. This means that the recognized lean operation will be able to immediately, and successfully, onboard the new electromechanical production lines. Not only will this result in Lenze being able to better serve its customers, but also give the company the capability to expand its electromechnical product offering.
