The tool requires the installation of a paid EASY Professional license (see also
https://productfinder.lenze.com). This license can be ordered as a separate product and includes a license number to be entered during installation. To bridge the delivery time, the full range of functions can be tested free of charge for 30 days even without a license. The subsequent installation of a license can then be done with the EASY Navigator, which is installed together with the tool.
If the PLC Designer installation is aborted without error message, please check if the installed virus scanner blocks the execution of the installation file.
Lenze Software may contain software elements that are licensed as free software or open source. The licensing terms and conditions of the open source software components used in this product are included in the package offered here for downloading. They can be found in the "License" directory once you have downloaded and extracted the file.

If you want to check the integrity of the downloaded setup file, you will find the hash value in the specified json file. It also contains the algorithm used and the hash value. On the page Cyber Security @ Lenze you will find the hash values of all engineering tools in the different versions.
In the extracted directory start the Lenze_PlcDesigner_setup.exe file.
Follow the installation instructions.
In case of no internet connection during the installation process, no software updates could be carried out via Lenze »EASY Package Manager« automatically. You can install the necessary file (packages) via the AKB article Offline packages for Lenze engineering tools.
